Elbit project
Elbit came to the Y team and asked us to make a system that could photograph the laser sights, in a way that could takes pictures of a thumb labels resolution in all the directions and make the customer sure that he gets what he wants in the best way.

Our solution was a pallet that turn around in 360 degrees (with the laser sight placed on top of the pallet) with 3D printed gear that connected to the pallet and to another gear which is connected to a servo motor that can turn around. The whole system is controlled by Arduino.
The system is placed inside a box made from metal frames and foam walls, making the box more durable.
The box has very strong LEDs in it, so the camera could recognize the thumb label.
