Agricultural Robot:
Being involved in the STEM world is a big goal for the team, and one of the steps to achieve it is the agricultural robot: a fully autonomous robot for commercial use in greenhouses; a unique startup we've developed. The robot is using an individual approach, where each plant is watered and fertilized by its needs, using image recognition.
The robot had to be built in an industrial quality, be demonstrated in front of a board, and eventually, after a series of successful trials, was authorized for further development. We sold the startup to another company, that will try and sell it on the market, and hopefully the robot will create a new world of agriculture.
The project is fully managed and developed by team members, giving us a profound look at what being an engineer is all about: finding exciting solutions to real world problems.
